MONDE : La fin de l’armée conventionnelle ?

Les Etats-Unis s’embourbent à nouveau au Moyen Orient, c’est clair. L’armée conventionnelle s’avère inefficace face à ce nouveau type de guerres. Mais quoi de plus logique : c’est la seule manière de se battre possible pour des pays ne pouvant rivaliser avec de grandes puissances ou étant occupés.

Alors ? Alors, après avoir réorienté la force militaire vers le renseignement, une nouvelle étape paraît franchie. Les USA semblent recréer des bases similaires à celles des talibans sur le territoire américain. En fait, il s’agit bel et bien d’une réorientation militaire. Une nouvelle armée est en train de se constituer dédiée à l’action « terroriste ». On y apprend à s’infiltrer, à poser des bombes, à agir par petits commandos… Si ça rappelle la Résistance en France lors de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, cela peut s’apparenter à l’OAS, plus tard en France ou à la tentative en ce sens en Espagne contre l’ETA. Surtout que, bien évidemment, le gouvernement Américain nie l’existence même de ces camps, de cette armée. On est loin des actions de la CIA en Amérique du Sud ou ailleurs.

The United States is bogging down again in the Middle East, it's clear. The conventional army is ineffective in the face of this new type of war. But what's more logical: this is the only way to fight possible for countries that can not compete with great powers or being occupied.

In fact, it is a military reorientation. A new army is being formed dedicated to the "terrorist" action. We learn to infiltrate, to pose bombs, to act by small commandos ... If it reminds the Resistance in France during the Second World War, it can be similar to the OAS, later in France or at the attempt in this direction in Spain against ETA. Especially since, of course, the American government denies the very existence of these camps, this army. We are far from the actions of the CIA in South America or elsewhere.
Is this the beginning of the end of the conventional army?
