PSYCHOLOGY - The Manipulated
This is the title of a recent article from the Institute of Psychology (University of Paris Cité) in the Quebec journal “Science & Behavior”.
A very strange approach is taken there, bordering on mysticism.
Imagine: some people are almost the reincarnation of missing, dead people...!? In fact not exactly reincarnation, the “manipulated”, as they are called in the article, are normal people, like you and me, except that they are likely – more than others – to fall under the behavioral influence of deceased people. !!! Ah yes, all the same!... This supposes that there is something left (a soul, a ghost,...?) of a being when he is dead: already limit. And that this deceased would use a living person, the famous manipulated person, having a personality close to that of the dead, in order to continue to have an action in the world of the living. Thus, the manipulated would act under the influence of the disappeared. The latter can even influence the course of things to achieve its ends.
So no ghost, no reincarnation, no, but strong influence of a deceased person, unknown to the living performer, chosen by the deceased to accomplish a task in his place, which he can no longer carry out himself since dead. .
The article is intended to be a simple digression without scientific basis... but interesting, intriguing, right?!
