HEALTH - Kine without displacements
The prescriptions in physiotherapy are exploding, it's clear. To the point that the number of physiotherapists is hard to follow. Queues are getting longer ... A bit like doctors.
So what to do?
The solution currently being set up in Ardèche, on an experimental basis, could reduce this pressure.
What is it about ? Simply providing patients, at home, with material and worksheets, either momentarily, the time of the series of sessions, or even permanently for pathologies for life.
Obviously, the patient must consult at least the first time, and even then, regularly, history to note the progress, to adapt the treatment and the material. But then he goes home with the instruments of torture (delivered so cumbersome). He knows what he has to do.
After, it's a question of confidence: we must do!
The specialist benefits from compensation (rental, monitoring ...).
And Social Security is doing, at a lower cost. The overall cost is lower. In short, everyone finds his account!
In case of balneotherapy, the swimming pool is not provided ...
