FRANCE - The boom of Internet radio
A long time ago, in the last century, in the 1960s, we witnessed the rapid development of transistor radios, which gradually replaced the first galena stations at the beginning of the 20th century.
In fact, but perhaps more discreetly, we are now taking a new step.
For some years already, however, the radio stations have set up Internet versions of their broadcasts but the listening assumed a computer and an Internet connection. Not practical !
The "private" computer park is now highly developed as well as the Internet connections since the generalization of the ADSL, even of the optical fiber (Internet, TV fixed telephone then mobile). All that was missing was the radio! Well done, and successfully by wifi. Finally, it was enough to develop the support, in this case "Internet" radio stations. Thus, the stations of radios with transistors, replaced by these stations of Internet radios disappear little by little.
