FRANCE - The Celtic wave is back
Amazing the current Celtic wave if we refer to the economic situation of Ireland, Celtic country par excellence! And yet ...
Yet we had already seen this, musically, in the 1970s with Alan Stivell and Celtic music groups such as Malicorne, which continued throughout the late 20th century.
This revival is currently very strong through the inter celtic festival of Lorient, which is an unequaled success, as well as Celtic and Breton music that sells very well.
But it goes beyond that and now shows through the influence of its cultural roots.
It is actually more indicative of a need to return to traditions, deep French culture, nature, ancient cults ... as a refuge in an uncertain and frightening world today.
And this is, alas, the lambs of some far-right parties rushing to recover this opportunity!
