CULTURE - B.D. without draftsmen
The photo novels of old have almost disappeared nowadays. They do not make any more recipes. On the other hand, there is a strong development of comic books.
So, what's more logical, with the performance of computing, which already facilitates the creation of cartoons, (animated films), than to see the first comic strips created from photo novels?
The principle of realization is the same: a series of photos of real scenes, with comments and bubbles, the passage through a specific software that turns the picture into a drawing, and voila! There is even possibility of setting the software to customize the transformation. And here is a comic strip made without the intervention of a draftsman! It's strong, right? And the best is that it works and gives a second wind to the photo novel. Well, the artistic side, the leg of the master, is no longer there, it's clear.
Are we planning a stand at the next Angoulême festival without attracting the wrath of the real artists, creators, authors?
