MEDIA - A lottery for the news?
We echo information that will probably not have escaped you because it concerns information and caused a scandal.
This is the "question" asked at the end of the various news bulletins on BFM-TV concerning, of course, the news.
We knew the principle because it is more and more common on the various channels, including the public ones. A question, whose answer is very easy, not to say obvious, and 2 possible answers: a good one and a bad one. You then have a limited time to call or send a surcharged SMS with your answer. A draw follows to designate the winner. To comply with the law, you have the possibility of having your participation fees reimbursed, but the procedure is very likely to cost you more than the amount reimbursed.
BFM had already started to use this procedure but on its local stations and mainly for sports information.
But there, a threshold has been crossed: it is about information, news, and that is what has offended many journalists (and competing channels, of course). Information is sacred, it's serious, we don't play with it!!!
In short, if you choose that the last major fire took place in Hawaii and not in Japan, you can earn 1000€ per month for a year…
