A suivre !

EUROPE - End of the Spanish monarchy?
The Spanish Monarchy is going badly right now. She is accused of all evils. After the scandals of father Juan Carlos I - installed by Franco - for corruption, unwelcome elephant hunting, extra-marital affair, his abdication for the benefit of his son Felipe VI, his exile in the United Arab Emirates, those of his daughter (abuse of power, tax evasion), while the Spanish people are suffering the consequences of economic and health crises.
Despite the efforts of the son, Felipe VI, the Bourbon dynasty is, once again, very threatened. The popularity rating of the monarchy is at its lowest. Let’s not forget that the ruling party, Podemos, with Pedro Sanchez, Pablo Iglesias, had in its program the end of the monarchy and the institution of a 3rd Republic. And it’s not Felipe VI’s 15-year-old daughter Leonor who will save the day.
It is therefore indeed a question of an upcoming referendum, for or against the Monarchy, for or against the Republic.
If this does take place, it is very likely that it will be the end of the Monarchy in Spain.
Then the monarchies of southern Europe, Catholic, will have disappeared.
On the other hand, those of the north, Protestant, are flourishing. So much so that Finland and the Baltic States are tempted… To be continued!
