SOCIAL - A Parental Service?
This is the last Bill to be submitted to the National Assembly, by Jacques Durant, centrist MP.
And, my faith, original, innovative, and not so uninteresting as that ...
There used to be the National Service, the good old military service, which is gone. Replaced by the Civil Service, open to all, young men and women. I will not explain the principles again, you know them.
Perhaps the future "Parental Service" is for couples, or even young people who will be in a relationship one day or another ... and who will have children.
And the goal is to teach them to be parents. Not how we make children: that, in general, they know. But to know how to educate them and follow their development.
One of the goals is, it should not be forgotten, to prepare them well for school. That it can devote itself fully to education, leaving the parents education. Extensive program!
But we also bet on future good behavior, politeness, solidarity, in short certain moral values.
It should also help single-parent families, it's clear!
