PSYCHOLOGY - Paranormal powers
We had already touched on the subject a little, a long time ago, about the lucky ones. Well the Institute of Psychology of Paris has just reiterated.
After having shown, at the end of a test study, that the intellectuals were not lucky, implying the non-intellectuals are, a new study was carried out about all the powers approaching the paranormal. This therefore concerns premonition, clairvoyance, the powers of telepathy (more or less), extrasensory perception, magnetism, in short, everything that enters the field of parapsychology.
And the groups that emerge are the same: intellectually disabled, but also extroverts, artists, “carpe diem”, have more predispositions to these powers while introverts, intellectuals, reasonable, thoughtful, have none!
This joins another conception: the classical, normal language, often written, the formalization, the institutional references, would block these powers, a brake for another form of thought where we find moreover music, painting, in short, the image, the sound, the true primary sensory perceptions.
This also ties in with a past article showing that language was a hindrance to thought.
Communication through channels other than speech?
It reminds me of the sounds and such in Close Encounter of the Third Kind.
