ANTHROPOLOGIE la fin de l’Homme

Grave question que celle de l’avenir de l’humanité… Pandémies, guerres, dérèglement climatique : où va-t-on ?

Et le dernier rapport de l’UMR Eco-Anthropologie (CNRS, Musée de l’Homme, Université de Paris) n’est guère rassurant, bien au contraire. Il n’est pas tendre pour l’humanité. En gros, les catastrophes actuelles sont dues à l’Homme.

Mais, en plus, le trop fort développement de l’humanité déséquilibre l’écologie terrestre : il y a trop d’humains sur Terre, en trop forte augmentation, impactant trop fortement son environnement.

L’Humain est assimilé, dans ce rapport, à un virus – rien que ça, sympa ! – contaminant la Terre, s’en alimentant, s’y multipliant, jusqu’à destruction, mort, complète, de la Terre, mais donc de l’Homme aussi.

Du coup, la Nature semble réagir en contrecarrant cette expansion. Un peu comme s’il y avait une « intelligence » naturelle de régulation !?

Et cela se traduirait par l’apparition de virus, des vrais cette fois, de guerres, et de catastrophes climatiques.

L’Homme lui-même semble ne pas vraiment se rendre compte de la situation, ou manque de conviction pour réagir.

Peut-être même qu’on enverra des métastases ailleurs dans l’Univers ?...

A serious question, that of the future of humanity... Pandemics, wars, climate change: where are we going?
And the latest report from the UMR Eco-Anthropologie (CNRS, Musée de l'Homme, University of Paris) is hardly reassuring, quite the contrary. He is not kind to mankind. Basically, the current disasters are man-made.
But, in addition, the excessive development of humanity is unbalancing the earth's ecology: there are too many humans on Earth, increasing too much, impacting its environment too strongly.
The Human is assimilated, in this report, to a virus – just that, nice! – contaminating the Earth, feeding on it, multiplying there, until the destruction, death, complete, of the Earth, but therefore of Man too.
As a result, Nature seems to react by thwarting this expansion. A bit as if there was a natural “intelligence” of regulation!?
And that would result in the appearance of viruses, real ones this time, wars, and climatic disasters.
The Man himself seems not to really realize the situation, or lacks the conviction to react.
Perhaps we will even send metastases elsewhere in the Universe?...
