En fait, la démarche a été initiée par la Russie. Les tentatives d’expansion de cette dernière vers certains pays de l’Est, de l’ex URSS (voire plus : essentiellement les pays orthodoxes) ont du mal à aboutir : l’Europe veille et est menaçante suite à l’annexion de la Crimée et la situation en Ukraine. Alors Vladimir Poutine change de stratégie.

Il profite d’un autre changement récent de politique mondiale. En effet, depuis la sortie de la Grande Bretagne de l’Union Européenne (Brexit), son rapprochement avec les USA, un bloc se forme constitué des USA, du Japon, de la Corée du Sud, de la Grande Bretagne donc du Commonwealth autour du Pacifique (Australie,…) contre la Chine. Ce n’est pas la Grande Bretagne qui intéresse les USA mais bien les pays du Commonwealth. Tout en affaiblissant l’Europe.

L’OTAN bat de l’aile devant cette nouvelle alliance.

Quoiqu’en dise son successeur, Trump commençait déjà cette restructuration.

C’est l’occasion rêvée pour la constitution d’une Europe forte, peut-être alliée à la Russie, la Grande Europe, de l’Atlantique à l’Oural ?

Risque d’une annexion de l’Europe par la Russie ?...
