INFORMATIQUE Un dictionnaire des pictogrammes

Bonne initiative des Editions Dunod dans leur collection InfoPro : un « dictionnaire » des pictogrammes utilisés en informatique !

Ce nouveau dictionnaire, qui vient de paraître, rassemble l’ensemble des symboles utilisés dans le domaine informatique mais aussi Internet.

Cela concerne aussi bien ceux apparaissant dans l’interface utilisateur, de plus en plus nombreux, que ceux utilisés dans le domaine de la pré-programmation (organigramme).

3 parties : le dictionnaire lui-même, en français par ordre alphabétique (ex : « suivant »…) avec donc le picto correspondant, une annexe avec tous les symboles graphiques sous-titrés des mots correspondants, enfin un CD contenant la programmation des dessins de chaque, par petits modules, en langage informatique, prêts à être intégrés directement dans un programme.

Parfois, d’ailleurs, ces pictos ne sont que des rectangles contenant le mot de consigne lui-même.

Certes fait pour les professionnels mais une version light est prévue pour, justement, les non férus en informatique, les non geeks afin de les assister lors du maniement des divers logiciels et applications du domaine courant, informatique, internet, smartphone….

COMPUTING - A dictionary of pictograms
Good initiative from Editions Dunod in their InfoPro collection: a “dictionary” of pictograms used in IT!
This new dictionary, which has just been published, brings together all the symbols used in the computer field but also in the Internet.
This concerns both those appearing in the user interface, which are increasingly numerous, and those used in the field of pre-programming (flowchart).
3 parts: the dictionary itself, in French in alphabetical order (eg: "next" ...) therefore with the corresponding pictogram, an appendix with all the graphic symbols subtitled by the corresponding words, finally a CD containing the programming of the drawings of each, in small modules, in computer language, ready to be integrated directly into a program.
Sometimes, moreover, these pictograms are only rectangles containing the instruction word itself.
Certainly made for professionals but a light version is planned for, precisely, the non-computer enthusiasts, the non-geeks in order to assist them during the handling of the various software and applications of the current field, computer, internet, smartphone….
